The mission of Table Work Press is to publish and advocate for promising plays, and to forward the act of reading as a valid and deeply valuable avenue for engaging with the theatre. TWP will support the progress and vitality of the American theatre by championing playwrights whose work is important, pressing, and worth writing home about, and by imagining new approaches to theatrical participation. Table Work Press was founded in 2019. The organization is based in New York City.
